4.12.2020 I had the pleasure of interviewing Andrew Camarata who has amassed a following centred around his passion to build, fix and destroy. For those that do not know him he has established a successful Property Maintenance business ‘Camarata Property Maintenance’ and has built a container castle in which he lives. Andrew discusses with me his story of how he got to where he is today and shares advice to people looking to follow in his footsteps. We also discuss some of the equipment he uses for Youtube and his plans for the future.
Explaining my first few experiences with excavation, and talking about the first machines I bought.

Andrew Camarata has been working in the excavation and property maintenance business since 2009. Andrew began working alongside his father, an expert mechanic and craftsman, fixing all types of engines and machines, developing his passion for machinery and excavation. After studying Computer Science, Andrew decided he wanted to pursue his love for excavation and outdoor work. Working with clients to turn their vision into reality is one of the reasons Andrew loves what he does and continues to create satisfied customers daily.

Digging a trench and installing a primary underground electric service for a new house.
Rescuing a old REO truck that has been sitting for 35 years. Jacking it up, installing wheels on it, using 3 excavators to drag it to the street and load it on a trailer. There should be a follow up video of it once its running looking better.
The REO Motor Car Company was a Lansing, Michigan-based company that produced automobiles and trucks from 1905 to 1975. At one point the company also manufactured buses on its truck platforms. Ransom E. Olds was an entrepreneur who founded multiple companies in the automobile industry. In 1897 Olds founded Oldsmobile. In 1905 Olds left Oldsmobile and established a new company, REO Motor Car Company, in Lansing, Michigan. Olds had 52 percent of the stock and the titles of president and general manager. To ensure a reliable supply of parts, he organized a number of subsidiary firms like the National Coil Company, the Michigan Screw Company, and the Atlas Drop Forge Company.
