About

One of the reasons that we started a worm farm was the fact that we wanted to give back to the earth. We believe, as many of you, there are strong environmental issues happening in our world.

It’s our belief that using and making compost benefits the entire planet. It protects and nurtures the environment as it nurtures our gardens. After much researching, we decided that vermicomposting is the way we wanted to help in this process.

Chemilcal fertilizers, pesticides and insecticides, in our opinion, are a major source of air and water pollution, harmful to our environment, along with the fish, animals …and humans that live in it.

Vermicomposting is frequently used to help remediate or decontaminate polluted sites. So, why not begin in our own space? Using worms and their byproducts have all the benefits needed to add to our earth and help our environment, reduce use of landfills, and lower cost spent on environmental damage.

That’s just our take and one big reason we began this incredible journey into the lives of worms!
