One is their simple way of living as well as the kind of community they have. When it comes to farming, the Amish is quite known for it. The Amish people are very strict on their religious values. As much as possible, they do not want to use technology. Instead of using tractors, they often preferred using horses when they wanted to plant and plow the fields. Come follow along on a typical day in the life of an Amish Dairy Farmer during harvest season in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Watch as he begins his day before light by checking on his cows, expectant mothers, and heifers. Then follow along as he feeds his animals, gets his milking machines ready, milks his cows, does his other chores and finally begins harvesting his corn.
